After the exciting events of the Today Around L.A.show that morning, the Eleven AM news went by happily uneventful for everyone, and Kent and Kathy went their seperate ways.

Hungry and confused with his sudden personality change, Kent decided to eat his lunch. Hoping his favorite dish of his wife's spaghetti would make hime feel more like the Eagle Boy Scout he usually was. Kent unwrapped his dish and put it in the microwave. Removing the steaming noodles Kent slid into his seat at his desk and began to eat rapidly. Taking a short break to drink his bottled water, Kent places his fork on the plate and notices something moving across the spaghetti. Picking up his fork to try to get at whatever was crawling around, he realizes that the whole plate of pasta is moving. On further inspection by wiping the sauce away, he finds his half eaten plate of food is full of worms. Nauseous and sickened, he runs into the bathroom to regurgitate what he had just consumed.

Down the hall from Kent sat Kathy busy doing her promo's for the morning show. Feeling tired and agitated Kathy just wanted to get them done with. And with just a check to make sure the material was recorded alright, Kathy stood propped up against the door jam. Startled by a deep gravled voice coming from the speakers, she bolted upright. Everyone in the room stopped and dead silence followed. Kathy looked accusingly over at the staff thinking it was a joke. At the moment she was going to yell at them, a dark mysterious voice rang out again and the staff, including Kathy, ran from the room. Out of breath and with her feet hurting, Kathy looked for something she knew was real. Her eyes led her to the wall next to her desk and the many awards hanging there, including the Hispanic Heritage Award she recently received from President Clinton.
